We talked about the Dove campaign and how it was trying to sell its self not any other product. Its kind of like the cadbury's advert with the gorilla playing the drums to the song which is a very good example of a viral campaign, because when one person sees it it catches on and everyone ends up knowing about it. At the end the message which they are trying to portray is that beauty is only skin deep.
Another example of a viral advertising is the coke and menthol extreme experiment. This is the advert were they use 101 2 litre diet coke bottles and 3545 menthol's and put together a sequence of amazing reactions. The aim behind this is that they are portraying randomness which is highly appreciated in the teenage world, which is obviously the target audience for the advert.
