4.2 feedback on knight Crew poster
3/11/2010 4:25:38 mr cj 18 Yes
its very creative i liked the building idear aswel as the people thort overall a good poster but i dont think i would of used yellow text N/A change the colour text loool yeah because the gang people also the buildings inplying a big town but the gun had no relevance due to the knight crew production being to do with knife crime.
3/25/2010 5:09:31 Lottie 16 Yes
The colours are very violent and are a good representation of the blood and hatred that is in the knight crew, it is very original and I think it also effective at getting its point of advertising across. I didn't seen yoyr animation but if it it is like your poster it is good. From a distance the small writing is unreadable, if you made it bigger you would be able to se it more. Yes and No, its suitable for youths but the main picture is of some holding a gun when in the book it was more about knife crime but I also think its attractive to students my age.
Evaluation
I believe that the way in which i created my poster and, what the end resultwas; effectivivley made it so i managed to comunicate my message to my taget audiance correctly.
My target audiance was aimed at those who are adolecent teenagers, after asking other people questions using my feedback questionnaire i have come to the decision that i was succesfull in cimmunicating my message accros to my target audiance.
I think could have used some more effective methods of creating my poster, however considering that i am not experienced in the software i was using, i think i achived my goals with the skills that i used.
I wasnt the one who created the slogon for our campaign.
I feel that i went around creating the campaign rather well, however the execution of it could have been better.
If i were to this campaign again i would make sure that i complete my planning sooner and in greater deatail.
Also if i were to do it again i would have more knowledge on how it all works because, one of my main problems was getting to grips with how to actually plan out my ideas and elaborate upon them.

Unit 5 LO3.2 • Pitch and feedback Post from Glyndebourne
- Try not to make the animation of the sheep not to graphic so it doesn't offend anyone.
- with my poster if i use print people often use a portrait image but on a website a lot of it is landscape, so she said it would be worth designing two versions, could use really erratic designs if posting online.
- On my questionnaire it would be a good idea to put contact details in at the bottom because then I'm all ready collecting my database for my next production or post.

Unit 5 LO2.3 & LO3.2 • Glyndebourne feedback
General marketing feedback
In terms of feedback from a Marketing point of view, I just thought I should re-emphasize context. I think it’s worth a reminder that in the real world all the nice creative bits are often generally outsourced to designers. So in the final presentations, we’d like to know about their rationales; a detailed summary describing how they arrived at these creative ideas and a breakdown of the marketing campaign itself. Throughout the process students should be thinking about this overall plan, keeping in mind that we’ll want them to report back on the following issues:
1/What do you want to achieve?
2/Profile of your target group(s):
What are they like?
Where are they based?
What is their experience of the arts/Glyndebourne?
What are your key messages to them?
What do you want them to do – what barriers might stop them?
3/Describe your selected methods of communication:
Why did you decide that this was the best way to communicated with your target group(s)?
Give reasons for the creative design you’ve chosen.
What are the key pieces of information your marketing assets need to convey (NB I know it’s still early stages, but I noticed that quite a few of the examples don’t include the essentials logo, date, creative team, booking information etc. so might be worth a reminder on that!!)
Think:
WHO?
WHAT?
WHERE?
WHEN?
HOW?
It might be a helpful exercise for students to mark out a timeline of how their planning/activities roll out?
4/How will this interact/complement your Press plan?
5/How will you measure the success of your marketing campaign? How will you tell if you have reached your target group?
I look forward to seeing your final pitches in December
Best Wishes
Sarah

Unit 5 LO2.1 • Flow diagram of Ideas for campaign

We mind mapped ideas about what we would do for our campaign.
We decided that we would put the Glyndebourne logo on it because it is Glyndebourne we are promoting, we will put an excentric colour scheme on it to make it stand out, we will give links to our blog, change around the size of images of the posters so there is variation in it and we will make the poster focused around sheep because Glyndebourne has alot of sheep around which is of comical value.
Unit 5 LO1.2 Analysis on BT Adverts
What the BT adverts are trying to do , is sell there product and themselves by making the programme attractive to most of the different types of audience, e.g (teens, children, adult).
By making most of the adverts all about this one family, makes most of the viewers fond of these adverts.
Where have you come across it?
I first came across this series of adverts on the t.v. They made all the adverts like a soap series so it really hooked its audience in.
Wherever you were affected by it in anyway?
The way they hooked everyone in with the series of drama and family life in there adverts does affect most of the public, As they would watch it just for the story line or would try and guess what would happen. The adverts didn't affect me hugely but i did get drawn into the story line of it.
What message the campaign is trying to communicate
A message which they are trying to show is that if you buy this product then you will be a good husband and dad to your family. They also show you what a well working, nuclear family is.
The overall strategy for communicating that message shock, surprise, charm, persuasion by rational arguments etc.
They use a Famous Actor, Chris Marshall to portray the character of the dad, this is a good way of Advertising the product because the actor is famous for being very humerus.
When the adverts are being played they use a surprising amount of emotional and positive situations to ease the viewer into the advert.
The items that have been used in the campaign (e.g posters, flyers, television adverts).
They mainly use the television to broadcast there adverts but i found on there website a picture of her smiling holding a phone plus some dialog so they obviously use other forms of adverts.
What is similar about he items in this campaign - what ells us that they are all part of the same campaign.
On the advert on the website the clothes she is wearing the posture shes in and the way shes smiling all suggests that she is happy and is backing up the information that the campaign on the t.v is telling.
Who is targeted by the campaign?
The campaign is targeting house hold owners/parents.
How the people that created the campaign have tried to reach that target audience.
They manage to target that audience by getting the viewers sometimes emotionally involved in the soap like advert.
By only putting one small bit the of storyline in each episode they succeed in drawing people in on whats going to happen next. Even when the viewers only watch the advert to to see what happens next they still take in the information of the advert and come to terms that bt is a good company which is what they are tying to say.
strengths of the campaign and how successful it is in communicating its message.
One streagth of the campaign is that i is good at aiming towards family life and how it hanges everyday, which natrally attracts alot of viewers.
Any weaknesses in the campaign and how it could be improved.
They could make more happen in the adverts by adding more (big effects)
Whether you were allredy aware of this campaign.
I have allready seen this advert before this is how i know that it attractes people in because, i heard it from someone else so i watched it and it had a soap like feeling to it.

Unit 5 LO1.2. BT Broadband A.I.D.A analysis
Interests- They interest the viewer by telling you important things like when he says about the t.v package which will be coming soon. They interest men viewers by talking abut many gadgety things, and when they talk about them there is only men in the room which also attracts male customers.
Desire- They try to convince you by saying that if you buy this product you will be a good father and will be able to care for you family.
Action- The way they portray the advertising they say things in a way that you will be drawn in.
Unit 5 LO1.2 A.I.D.A
When we talk about I. interest, makes the customer interested by explaining features and benefits or justifying opinions. Visuals and sound must be interesting.
when we talk about D. Desire it means, convince the customer that they want the product or that they agree with you.
When we talk about A. Action we lead the customers to purchase the product or take action.

Unit 5 LO1.2. Notes on target audiance
The different interests of men and women are the most obvious factor in considering audience's by advertisers. There are still references to women's magazines and films such as chick flicks.
We will have to consider the style of the presentation of the text, how attractive/effective it is to our target audience, whether the content of the text is suitable/appropriate for out audience.
We need to remember that every media text that has been produced has had the intended reader in mind,at all times.

Unit 5 LO1.2 Political Campaign
Unit 5 LO1.2 Drug Drive Campaign
The campaign have used Paranoia as the main strategy of the advert. This is achived when they tell you that you cannot avoid the effect that drugs have on your eyes, when you consume them and because there are a lot of people in the car (4-5) all on drugs. This can relate to some of the lives of the age range which i mentioned last paragraph.

Unit 5 LO1.2. Questions for Avatar campaign
1) What do you think the point behind the Avatar marketing is? So people know that the movie is being released so they go out to see it. 2) Where have you come across this/these adverts? I have seen these adverts on the Internet (YouTube, ing.com, face book), the t.v (they pick clever places to advertise the trailer so they can sell to their target audience), i have also seen advertisements around town. 3) Where you affected by them in any way? The trailers and posters really made me want to go see the movie because of the stunning animation, as a result i went to see it twice. 4) What message is the avatar campaign trying to communicate? They are trying to show you how good and innovative the animation is, its also showing you the genre of the movie to attract their target audience. 5) The overall strategy for communicating that message shock, surprise, charm, persuasion by rational arguments etc. They have persuaded most of the viewers to watch this film by making it seem utterly mind blowing in the trailers, they have done this by empathising the animation aspect in the trailers. 6) The items which have been used in the campaign ( e.g posters, flyer's, television, adverts). The items which thay have used in their campaign includes posters, adverts, television and have released a console platform game. 7) What is similar about the items in this campaign - what tells us that they are all part of the same campaign? They all use similar colours (mainly dark blue, orange and green), and they keep the title in each one. 8) Who is targeted by the campaign? People who are fond of james camerons movies also the younger generation who are more likley to appreciate the animation in the film. 9) How the people that created the campaign have tried to reach that target audience. They chose specific times to advertise Avatar on the tv, ( such as inbetween episodes of the simpsons) so that they can target the right people. They have used a more peacefull, mysterious (uncharted) approch to the posters which gets you interested in it. 10) The strength's of the campaign and how successfull it is in communicating its message.I thought that one of the streanghts of the campaign was the fact that they
managed to get so many people anticipating the movie, but it sure did pay of because in the first week they made a massive amount of money and broke the record of amount of sales in first week.
11) Any weakness in the campaign and how it could beimproved.
Im not really sure about their being any weakness that I can think of, because they made such a good effort in promoting the sale of it.
12) Were you allready aware of this campaign.
I was aware of this campaign for a long time before the college mentioned anything about it due to magazines, internet, t.v and my freinds.
